STEMand College Teams Have 3 Components

  • Sponsorship: Donors (typically alumni or parents) contribute a minimum of $250 to sponsor a STEMand team at their chosen college, funding the materials for building STEMand kits.
  • Student Volunteers: Student volunteers at each school work together (usually for an hour or two) to assemble the STEMand kits so that they are prepared for children to use.
  • Community Partner: The assembled STEMand kits are distributed to local elementary schools and after-school programs, targeting children facing education or income inequities and those who may become first-generation college students.
