April 20th, 2024
STEMand's first session! STEMand went to JaxTHRIVE's Super Saturdays and did science kits with over 30 kids. The kids got to learn about science AND art through capillary action kits that made flowers with really cool designs. The kids really enjoyed learning about the interconnectedness of science and art!
September 28th, 2024
At this session STEMand taught about engineering AND cars! The kids got to build their own race cars and learn abut newtons laws of motions and also the science behind cars. When they had completed constructing their cars they were able to race them and had a lot of fun! The components of the kits were sponsored and put together previously by a team at Florida Blue!

During STEMand's session at this JaxTHRIVE Super Saturday the kids got to learn about engineering AND tennis! There was over 30 kids that got to build their own tennis rackets and then got to go outside and learn how to serve the ball and play tennis with each other. STEMand went to JaxTHRIVE's Super Saturday and did science kits with the kids. The children got to learn about math AND soccer! The kids built their own soccer balls and then went out side to test their soccer balls for distance and time. The kids each kicked their ball three times with different strengths to determine how that would effect the speed of the ball. They recorded thei
